Hi! I’m Jaidip Subedi.
I was born and raised in a Hindu family in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Growing up, my life was deeply immersed in Hindu traditions, rituals, and the many ceremonies we celebrated throughout the year. These early experiences sparked a genuine curiosity in me to understand the deeper meaning behind our customs and beliefs.
What began as family teachings soon turned into a personal journey of exploration. I started researching and reflecting on aspects of Hinduism that weren’t immediately clear to me.
Over time, this journey evolved into a passion — not just to learn, but to share the timeless wisdom of Sanatan Dharma with the world.
Why World Hindulogy?
My traditions and values are deep rooted with Hinduism, and since I grew up listening and learning about these fascinating stories of Gods and Demons, I became inclined to stuffs happening around my relatives and my home.
I sought out various learning materials and watched too many videos to figure out what Hinduism actually is, and share those learnings here.
World Hindulogy just came to my mind when I was wondering about the name, since it rhymes with Mythology and I just went with it. A dear friend and colleague of mine Suraj Shrestha designed the logo for me, and I am very grateful for him!
